Founded in 2012 by Armand Thiberge in India and France, Brevo’s mission is to build the most approachable customer platform to deliver sustainable growth to all businesses and non-profit organizations by fostering more human and personalized connections.

In December 2025, Brevo became a unicorn.

Their need

The collaboration started in 2024 when the Content manager received marketing translations done by a famous agency. The quality was unsatisfying and reviewing the texts would take more time than rewriting from scratch. Although the company is French, some content are created abroad in different offices, then translated into French. They needed marketing ebooks for their B2B activity. Then they needed Enterprise account marketing presentation translated into French. As these are part of the B2B activity, they needed an expert: linguist + skills in marketing automation.

They needed a freelancer with availabilities over several months to work on strategic B2B content. 

My solution

As the team did not have the time to edit the translations delivered by theh agency, they looked for a freelancer. First, we exchanged on phone about expectations, volume of work and methodology. We decided to start asap. I reviewed a sample of an ebook. My edits matched the expectations, so we knew we were on the same page.

I worked on several ebooks and PPT. I produced quality work, sot that the Content manager decided that my solution and process were more efficient than the agency’s. So I was directly assigned the content to translate. Then the Content manager answered my comments and the collaboration is seamless. The content is ready earlier, there are less steps. 

The Results

The Content team is very satisfied with the quality work provided on marketing content for their B2B Enterprise accounts.
